In the early days, it was evident that the printing industry was faced with environmental issues. As an industry, we’ve come a long way. We’ve always stayed a step ahead, improving processes and moving forward to reduce our environmental impact whenever we can.

Our Environmental Efforts

Whether it's promotional products or printing, the team here at Print House has evolved our production procedures to execute environmental sustainability focused practices.

Recycling Paper Waste

In addition to our standard practice of recycling paper and cardboard throughout our office, all our house paper stocks are made up of at least 30% Post Consumer Waste (PCW) recycled content. This eliminates the overall amount of fresh pulp from trees, energy, and water needed to make a sheet of paper.

Chemistry-free Platemaking Systems

We utilize chemical free plating systems and machine washes to eliminate toxic and potentially harmful manufacturing solutions during our production efforts. This simple switch means a significant reduction in hazardous waste disposal as well as improved health conditions for our press operators.

Local Donations

Local schools and non-profit organizations are always in need of paper to make pamphlets, posters and publish books. Print House donates unused paper materials to community institutions to help with these efforts.

Soy-based Inks

Get high-quality prints without harming the environment! As an ideal alternative to oil-based inks, we proudly use organic, biodegradable soy-based inks which provide accurate print colors every time.
